Hi all

I have a proble(well i think). I am about to apply my ROC next month so I start collecting stuff I need. I pretty much cover all aspects, but the residential. I am renting with my husband since my first time here (2015). When I applied adjustment 2 years ago, I got RFE (in october 2015) to prove residential. Since the lease only can be renewed in june, I can't have a lease for that time but the apartment office gave me a letter stated that I live in my address. After that I got my GC. But now when I start to collect the lease, it turns out I only have for this year's lease (2017-2018) that have our both names together.  I dont have  the last year lease with our name together but my husband's. I tried to ask the apartment office if they can write letter again state that I reside here but they can't do that. What worries me more is I dont have electric bills on both our names too, only my husbands because my husband tried to put my name on the bill but there is no section on the website to how to out additional name on the bill. Now I'm worried and confused at the same time. What should the best I do to prove my residential aspect. Will that be a problem though in the future?

What about bank statements? Credit card statements? I assume they have your current address on them. Any other utility bills like cable or internet? And you have this year's lease in your name right? That's enough I'm sure.

Im currently in the AOS process and this ROC already scares me a little. Even though its way off,all the bills are in my name, and until recently even the lease agreement (i pay all the rent and bills despite this change). I was able to convince the apartment manager to redraft a lease agreement with both our names however it was not easy. As for bills, they are likely to remain in my name only. I dont see why all bills need to be in both names. I can understand health insurance or car insurance and maybe a few others but if I lived here in this apartment for 3 years prior to my wife arriving here it seems logical that I would not change the documents to reflect her name when it makes no sense.
