CONGRATS!!!!

Thanks!

Thought for sure we wouldn't get an appt til Nov.

Have to call Monday to schedule med exam.

Question, how quickly was your hubby able to get exam appt? Hoping that won't be an issue since only 2 weeks til interview.

Does anyone know if my hubby can do the interview in English or Spanish? Like will they give him the option? And at one point in the interview will this happen? and last question is it the same person regardless or would they be like oh if you want English go to this person.

id appreciate any help!

So he will go to two windows the first is where he would turn in any docs that he has if needed and the second window will be with the American consular he will be conducting the interview which is typically less than 5-10 min. They will ask if English or Spanish and it'll be the same consular regardless if it's in Spanish or english.  I posted the questions my husband was asked on this thread I think it's in page 5 or 6

He got the medical exam scheduled without issues I did it over email , but you can call as well.

They will send you some papers via email  that husband will need to complete and take with him.

My my husband got his results that same day but only because the appointment was very early the lady at the medical dr said the earlier the appointment the more likely he was to get results that same day.

Also so he will have to pay for medical exam and the X-rays we thought it was all together but they are not and of course if any shots are needed. My husband got only 3 shots (he told them he had already gotten Variecella so they didn't put that one)

i scheduled the appointment about 4 days before he left to Guatemala .

I agree with the above! My husband did have to come back that Monday (appt was 9/1) to get his vaccines and dr report because they were busy but was not a big deal. He called to make his appt the day after we got our interview notice. Appointment was 9/1 and interview was 9/11.

Thank you both!  Very helpful. Will call doc tomorrow morning. Excited & nervous at same time.

Congrats! I can't wait till that's me but I'm SO nervous... we're in airport now on way to Guatemala. I have so much anxiety about his interview and idk how I'm gonna get through the next 14 days. I want to come home with my husband not without! Did you feel this way at all?
