Guatemala Appointment Time?

If you go back to the first entries in this thread you can read previous experiences , I would type everything out but my phone when I go on this site after a few min it pops up a spam so I can’t type a lot  but read the expierneces i know it’s stressful and your almost there also search guatemala embassy reviews and you’ll see other commenters who posted their experience. We finished everything 9/11/2017 after starting in 8/23/2013

Hello, our lawyer couldnt help us with the cargo but if you call the number they walk you through it! We went to Guatemala March 14th got police records all done the 15th, hubby had medical exam the 16th then interview the 20th. We were there a total of 9 days. Good luck just take all your stuff and get police stuff you should be fine! Also make extra copies of everything!

More questions: 

Do i need the original papers for the relationship documents? (Joint accounts, tax returns, insurance doc., Utility bills, etc) or just the copy for everything? 

 

And the utility bills, they are in my names, I still have to show them as proof also?? 

 

This is driving me nuts!!! Its a lot to do, we have 4 kids and we need a lot of things! 

 

Please help!!

When my husband went into the interview he needed passport, police stuff, medical exam (not the xrays), marriage certificate, copy of your interview date paper from nvc. Other then that we needed certain stuff for my hubbys case. We gave them original marriage abstract and they kept it. 

He did take everything to do with the case but they didnt ask for any of it. He took our youngest into the interview with him and they asked her a question too. 

Are you by chance going with him? I dont check this site much if you have any questions email me i will be happy to help. This experience was by far the hardest yet in our life.

When they say POLICE RECORDS, what they mean by that? Only criminal record? Or there is something else?

 

Im asking because in the court and in the other place (DMV) they are giving him hard time with all these papers!!! 

 

Please somebody help!!

Policiacos and antecedentes penales are the two forms my husband got from two different places they were located on the same street. If you do a quick google search you should be able to find the address I’ll try to find it once I get home and post it on here

My husband is approved for the visa, thanks God, and thank you all to help us with this process, thank God!! 

 

Now they told us to wait a least a week for the visa package... 

 

I have to pay the visa today, after his interview or later that he received the package by Cargo Expresso???

You pay for the residence card before leaving .i paid the same day he got approved. 

youll probably get passport/visa before the 1 week (hubby got his in 4 days another got one here in like 2 days)

Thanks so much, but how do I pay for that, because when I was trying to do it, is asking me for two differents numbers, and she only gave us a sheet saying the instructions how to pay it, she didnt gave us anything else!!

I am! I got my CC email on May 28th I called NVC June 30th and was told that it all depends on my embassy and how busy they are but to call back again at the end of this month because that’s when they schedule interviews for the following month.

Awesome! Someone in the same boat as me. I got cc'd on May 29th (but got the offial email on June 5th). I also called on Friday and nothing, but hopefully we get ours soon. Fingers crossed out embassy isn't that busy. Please let me know as soon as you hear something
