Guatemala Appointment Time?

Took us only two days after the CC email. Got verbal CC on 7/24, CC email on 7/31 and appointment date on 8/2. What does your NVC status say online when you check it?

I just checked it right now and all it says is At NVC...

 

I have seen that it usually is just a few days after CC email for everyone else that's why I'm getting anxious... I got verbal on 9/25 and email on 10/2 and nothing since then... And I called yesterday and all they said was that it is still waiting to be scheduled... I was wondering if maybe Columbus day had anything to do with it? Either way it's been over a week  now.

It can take up to a month, but as long as you’re calling NVC and checking don’t worry.

I agree with this!! I hate that it is taking so long for you but as long as you are in contact with them that is the main thing.

Still waiting for interview date, this is actually the worst wait time, you know you're so close to being done with all this yet so far 😐...

Have you called NVC again? They must be really back logged 😩

I did I called this morning and all she said was that they have started scheduling for December and she has nothing for me, to call back me week 😢

Still waiting here too and the wait time is dreadful,😞 but I am hopeful we will hear from them soon

Wow I am so sorry! I know how nerve wracking that can be. We got our appointment quickly, however we had to wait over 5 months to get a CC (probably the same story as many, many others), when we were led to believe that that was a shorter wait. I know it is so hard and so frustrating, but don’t lose hope!! It will happen soon! Maybe you all will be a December appointment!

Thank you, yeah maybe that's why you got your appointment so quickly because they new that you had already waited for 5 months.. where as we go CC in 2 weeks... It is really frustrating because you know your so close but you still can't seem to get there.. Really hoping for a December appointment! It would be so perfect to be with my husband for Christmas and start our new life in the New Year!

It really is dreadful 😢... So am I... When was your CC date? 

My CC Date was Sept 27 and it took them17 weeks all together because of the whole Birth Certificate ordeal so I dont think it has anything to do with the amount of time for case closed, and when I call I get no info only we will email you and your attorney when we schedule your interview.

Same here that's why I always say I'm just not going to call because their answers are even more frustrating but I still do lol...

I know I end up calling anyway too😕, I just wish they would be able to say things like your interview will be scheduled within two weeks, something with some comfort. That or send an email already🤔
