My husband just stated the same as Jrenoj. Around $400 (USD). He had to have 4 shots (MMR, D-Tap or T-Dap...I forget which, varicella, and flu shot). He had the chicken pox but I guess because there was no medical record they gave it to him anyways? We literally have TWO pictures of my husband as a child and wouldn't you know, one of those two is when he had chicken pox! However we knew a picture would not be any kind of proof so we just went with it :)

See that was going to be my next question.. Neither my husband or my mother in law have his vaccination récords... He has had them done but we have no records anymore... Is that going to be a problem??

No this will not be a problem. My husband had ZERO shot records from Guatemala. He did have one where he received the D-Tap/T-Dap here in St. Louis at the ER when he had hurt his knee, but they didn't pay any attention to it and just gave it to him anyways. The physician will go over what shots he needs according to his age and medical history. My husband is 24, very healthy, and those were the ones he needed. Everyone we have known personally has had no shot records and it was never a problem. There will be an annotation on his visa when he gets it at the bottom that says 212 g 2 b (I think!!) and that simply means he has an incomplete vaccination record, but that the physician waived certain vaccinations. Will not be a problem with entry into the US. I saw my husbands when I was scrutinizing his visa and googled it. Pretty common. Just wanted you to be prepared if you saw it :)

Hubby didn't have any Guatemala records either. Shouldn't be a problem.

We received the CC on 7/24 and got the appointment email on 8/2. Appointment was on 9/11.

Thank you! So almost exactly one week after...

So did you receive CC through email or did you call and they told you..

Because I called NVC on the 25th and they told me I have CC that exact day... Im just wondering if its going to be a week from the date of CC or a week from the time I received the email..

I would check the CEAC website and that actually showed completed prior to me receiving the email on 8/4

Sounds like you found out similarly to me. I checked the NVC site multiple, multiple times a day (like obsessively, let's be honest!) and noticed that the status had changed (I forget what it said), so I called them and they said it had actually JUST been completed that morning and that I would be getting an email about a week later. Sure enough, one week exactly the email showed up that our case was complete and ready to be scheduled!

Pretty much....give or take a few days. Just based on the experiences I have heard on here.

I was wondering if anyone has obtained their police records by a family member going to get them? My husband wants to be prepared as much as possible so he has to do as little as possible in fear of not having everything needed. Our attorney said he would only have to be there 2 days and I just don’t see how if everyone’s spouses were there for weeks?

He has to go himself to get them. My husband went about 12 days before his interview and it took him a total of three days to gather everything.  He left the US on 29 August, on the 30th he went to go get his police records and on Friday the 1st of Sept., he had his medical appointment. However, he had to come back on that Monday to get the rest of his medical reports. He gave himself alof of time so he wouldn't be rushing around.

You may want him to leav at least a week ahead of his interview. Medical results could take a day or two , and the police records could be obtained by a family member however my husbands dad tried to get it for him and he had to buy the officers in order to get them. (He ended up getting them when he got there)

And my husband unlike Sarah’s :( had to stay until 9/18 he had his interview mom 9/11 but visa/passport wasn’t ready for pick up until sat 9/16. Oh and husband left on 9/3 and had his medical exam 9/4 same day got results the next two days he got his police records and original bc
