The information about the SLEC medical exam instructs the fiancee to bring vaccine records.  My fiancee doesn't have any of her vaccine or medical records.  Will this be a problem?

Also, I'm hoping someone can confirm certain steps after the interview:  does one find out the day of the interview whether the visa is approved?  The visa is delivered to the provided address via courier service sometime after the interview?

Thank you very much for any insight you can provide.

My husband doesn't have vaccine records either. He'll have to be vaccinated at the medical exam from what I understand and be provided with those new records. Yes, you find out that day if you're approved or not and they'll return your visa to you via the courier service you choose.

If they are unable to verify what vaccinations she has received already, then they will need to test for what is in her system already and go from there.

Technically, they cannot approve you at the interview. A visa is not approved until additional checks are completed, which only happens after the interview. The paperwork she was provided should note this. However, the COs do tend to say they will recommend an approval in many cases. Then they will take her passport while they complete the additional checks, issue the visa, then give it to 2GO for delivery. She will receive the package with 1) her passport (including the visa), and 2) a sealed envelope that is clearly marked "DO NOT OPEN", which she will present at POE.

Not having Vaccine records is not a problem. They will interview you, they will look for vaccination scares and use a blood sample to determine the vaccines you will need. If they keep your passport you can expect to be approved. It is also ok if you ask. They will send it via 2go to the address you have on file.

Nope, not an issue.  Just a "bring 'em if you got 'em" suggestion from SLEC.

You may here the the CO say APPROVED at the interview, but reality is.. you are not approved until you see ISSUED on the CEAC website.

2GO will deliver the visa package, to your address of record.

Follow the link in my signature for more details.  I will post the link for you in case you are using a phone.

I don't have my vaccination records either when I went to slec last month.  They gave me 3 shots depending on the age of the person.  Some kids were given 5 shots and you will hear them scream and cry.

As for the interview, they will inform you if it is approved and expect how long will it take for the visa packet to arrive at your delivery location.  If they need more documents which you didn't bring, they will give you a sheet of paper and ask you to go to a different window for further instructions.

From what I read in the forum, CEAC may change your status to AP or issued even if they said approved. If they change to issued, then they are processing your visa and will be forwarded to 2go for delivery.

They do not inform you 100% of the time. Some CO's do tell others do not. If they don't say at the end of the interview, then ask them and they will respond. Also, the CO's have no idea how long it will take to process and issue the visa. So, no they can't say with any certainty when it will be issued and delivered.  The visa is approved when CEAC goes to ISSUED.

Besides, the CO saying  APPROVED during the interview is not "approved" .. that doesn't happen until you see ISSUED on the CEAC website.  And from that moment is when it can take 7-10 BUSINESS days.
