The toddler will piggyback on her mom's I-129F for now so no separate form at the petition level. She will only need a separate form at the embassy interview stage, which would be the DS-160 for visa application.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Focus on the I-129F petition now. In the I-129F, provide the child's detail under the section where it asks for the beneficiary's children details :)

Don't worry about the DS-160 yet. Anyway, the DS-160 is not brought to the embassy. It is completed and signed (electronically) online and then visa fee payment needs to be made. Again, no point of doing either because your I-129F is not even submitted nor approved presently. When the time comes, 1 x DS-160 for fiancee + 1 x DS-160 for kid AND 2 x USD265 visa fee.

Just list all of her children on the I-129F. Once the I-129F gets approved and the case is ready to apply for the actual visa, she can submit a DS-160 for herself (K-1) then another for each of her minor children that she wants to come with her (as a K-2).

it does not matter who fills it out as long as the information is correct and the immigrant agrees with everything that is in it.

It doesn't matter who fills it out, but legally the applicant must be the one to digitally sign/submit the form. You cannot sign for another adult just by them saying "it's ok".

from the point of legality they are the same

Yup. USCIS can require one over the other, but once a form is accepted, there is no legal difference (in enforceability) between a digital signature and a handwritten one.
