Hi, I have H1 visa stamped  till Sep 8. I need to go for marriage in November. At present, the current approved H1 petition is only till December , so they will probably give my stamping till December only.

  1. So will it be safe to travel in November, knowing my petition is expiring in December?

  1. Also, I have submitted my h1 renewal, but with no premium now, it may take more time than November. So when I go for visa stamping in November, can I just show petition till December and the new receipt notice (without the approval)? How safe it will be to get visa approved? Also any problems at POE?
  2. Any impact on I94

Yes embassy will stamp your passport till december and you can show extension receipt at embassy and at port of entry and you will be fine. I am little confused that your h1b approval is until dec but stamp us only until sept. Generally they stamp passport till the date on your h1b i 94.

Thanks for the reply. H1B stamping  till September bcoz that was the last time I went for stamping. But they put in the date in I94 till end of December. Do you think it will still be a problem with just 1 month left on stamping to re-enter and just show new receipt notice ?
