While I don't see Trump's tweeting as a danger to democracy, IMO most of what he tweets is childish and not presidential at all. It only makes him look foolish.

Obama is no doubt an articulate speaker, and it worked quite well for the demographic he suckered. 

 

I've noticed personally the left are extremely taken aback by those (like Trump, like myself) who are very direct and honest. 

 

I'm rather perplexed as to why they prefer people articulately BSing them over someone being brash and direct.. nonetheless, it's certainly just as exploitable as those who admire "straight talk". OTOH when I talk to people who prefer a straight-forward demeanor, they're a lot less prone to the kind of temper tantrums seen among the left over Trump. 

Donald Trump is not honest. It is dishonest to even suggest that he is. Being obnoxious doesn't equal being honest and his lies are many and incontrovertible.

MUCH more refined. Able to articulate in complete sentences. Classy and tactful. Trump talks to leaders on an equal basis ? Hahahaha....he considers himself to have no equal

It just sounds "other" than refined because he has no level of class or organized flow of thought. However, Trump's "other" is not as cool as what you think it is.
His brain is like the WH, conflicted chaos and not something to be proud of.
Trudeau holds his own just fine and whoever may have attempted to talk down to him (wild guess of yours)
would soon find out he has met his equal. Trudeau has the intelligence to recognize the lack of it in Trump so he humors him. Embarrassing. Sad.

The left....the left....the left....you have been on auto pilot. Them against us is your motto, so Trump like.
Dehumanize, bully, point and marginalize. Whenever you have something different to say besides the left ...the left.... the left in each and every post I may actually take you seriously.
My post was not directed to you but in direct response to another poster who was comparing so don't quote me out of context.

Some have to have it structured and authoritarian in order to function, some need it black and white and aren't aware of the shades of grey in between the two, kind of like being 
color blind. It must be frightening to not wanting to acknowledge the many prisms and shades as you feel secure only in the black/white kind of world.
Mistaking compulsive brashness for straightforward honesty is being manipulated, just like Trump wants it.
