I did not expect this process to go this FAST after receiving our NOA2! :jest::jest: We recieved our case number and notice to proceed from the Consulate in Dominican Republic on July 25, 2017 via email.  That was only a week after we received our NOA2 hardcopy.  We are in the process of getting everything in order (the plan is to bring his 6 yr old son as well) and hope to schedule our interview in the first week of September.  The anxiety is finally over and now we are just EXCITED!!!!!:D:wub:

Nice. My fiance is from San Pedro de Macoris.  I was just there to visit him for 9 days in June and we traveled to visit some of his friends in Santo Domingo. :)

I wrote it exactly as his name appears on his birth certificate and his cedula (ID).

Also do you know if it will be a problem that on my fiance's birth certificate they spelled his dad's last name wrong and on his my fiance's cedula has the correct spelling

You will need his birth certificate, the INEXTENSIVE one.  You must have it translated and mailed in along with a notarized translator's affidavit along with your petition.

Just write his father's name exactly how it appears on his inextensive birth certificate and your fiance's name as it appears on his cedula.
