2007-02-07 I-129F NOA1

2007-04-06 Approved!

***US Embassy Islamabad***

2007-04-25 Packet Received by my wife

2007-05-15 Medical Exam

2007-05-29 Interview Approved!

2007-05-29 AP starts

2007-11-01 Wife got call to pickup her Visa from American Express

2008-01-12 POE at JFK

2008-11-10 I-485 Sent to Chicago

2008-11-20 Payment accepted

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

sorry, I posted in k3 form so I figured everyone knew what I was applying for, but my post was moved. Anyway, we filed both I-130 which is being held for AOS, our I-129f has been forwarded to the american embassy in HCMC Vietnam so we are expecting our K3 packet 3 very soon. Would like info on the K3 packet 3 for Vietnam or where I can find out what its contents will be. Thank you, Dave & Diep

hey there! i know how frustrating this may be because I HAD THE EXACT SAME QUESTION a few days ago. in my case, everyone seemed to be giving me a range of advice, but here is a direct link from the NVC that explains what packet 3 will contain (depending on what country you are in...) i hope this helps!

3/1/07- Case transferred to NVC

3/12/07- Case forwarded to US Embassy In Ghana

4/17/07- Packet 3 received (my husband picked it up in accra)

4/25/07- Packet 4 received

8/20/07- Medical (Part I- Vaccinations/ Physical)

8/28/07- Medical (Part II- X-Rays/ Blood Work)

9/12/07- Picked up Medical Results

9/13/07- SUCESSFUL K-3 INTERVIEW!!!!!!

9/21/07- PICK UP VISA!!!

10/7/07- POE=JFK

10/30/07- EAD application received at Vermont Service Center

3/10/08- FINALLY APPROVED AFTER 4 MONTHS! (THANK GOD!)

3/15/08- CARD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL!!!

5/30/08 My husband started working!

3/12/09- Mailed out AOS papers

7/15/09-Initial interview in NYC = Success!!!

7/25/09- received 10 year green card in the mail! (YES!)

That link is for immigrant visas. The packet 3 for K visas will be somewhat different and will vary more from country to country.
