We were approved on Saturday, which is a huge relief.

I still see the processing times are March 06.

SO, last Tuesday I called our Senators office - Im in the UK, and they are aware that apps arent all processed in order they're received. The Senators office said they'd enquire for me, I only wanted a rough idea of when we could be approved. Few days later, we're thru Vt.

I wonder if its just a massive coincidence, or the senator pushed it?

Anyway, I hope all going thru Vt get some success real soon

thanks all. i think so..if not, its an incredible coincidence. i was wondering if i'd hear anything from my senators office this week. im planning on writing and thanking them anyway, so i would advise anyone waiting 4 months + to call their senator.

i feel badly for those that have waited longer. it ISNT fair at all really. we went thru Vt for our K1 and it was extremely quick then.

Nope, no touches after 25th. I think contacting the senator had something to do with it though. If not, then you're looking at 5 months or so thru Vt.

13-June-07 - Alien sends back completed DS-3032 (by mail)/ rcvd 19th of June approx.

To mid July-07 - I-864 form sent completed and IV fee bill

19-July-07 NVC rcv I-864 form; mail signature rcvd.

22-Aug-07 Ds-230 with documents sent to NVC.

20-Sep - 07 Alien sends NVC Missing document. NVC receives it the 25th.

05-Oct - 07 NVC completed.

16-Jan - 08 Interview, 3 questions asked, visa approved same day, received 1week later approx.

Note: delay due to internal delay, missing document (not rfe) and self procrastination of understanding some abstract terms. C Post not at all reliable (delivery duration, delivery with signature (did not deliver personnaly), and delivery of interview letter rcvd after the interview).
