Hello Visa Journey Community!

I am beginning to fill out my 129F for my Canada Fiancee and had a question regarding the employment section. Prior to the full-time job that I currently have, I worked for a company through a temp hiring agency. The temp agency contracted me to the company. On the 129F do I have to mention the temp agency I worked for or the company I worked for?

Hi,

In my opinion, if you are an official staff for that company, you should write the name of company you worked for.

Who signed your paycheck? I have a similar issue. I worked as a contractor for a company (Broadcom), through a temporary employment agency. It was the temporary employment agency who payed me (their name was on the checks) so I am listing them as my employer for that time period. Not 100% certain if this is correct, but if anyone asks for proof I can show bank deposits from the temporary agency. I have nothing with Broadcoms name on it.
