Hi All,

I have posted before based on my dad applying for me but again thats 7 years wait and want a quicker route if possible

So, my ex partner (my kids mum) is a registered nurse with a BcS Hons.

She is wanting to move over as well and bring the kids. We are now like brother and sister and have an amazing relationship.

1) As a nurse i know H-1A Visas dont exist anymore, but is she still able to get over as a skilled professional?

2) Is she able to take the kids 13 yrs and 19 yrs (autistic disability)?

3) IFFFFFFF we got married...

a) ...would she be able to bring me?

b) ...would i be able to work?

c) ...what would i be going over as (as in what catagory) Eg my current option is a F1 (child of a USC over 21)?

d) ...what is the time that would take for me to be able to work?

Thank you

Lee

If you are an F1, that is for child of a USC over 21 & SINGLE. If you got married you would be sent to F3, child of USC over 21 & MARRIED. The wait for F3 is like double the time than for F1.

How long have you been waiting for the F1?

Ontarkie is correct about #3 is fraud even if you are just looking for information, and it's against the TOS for this site.

The quickest route to the US and being able to work is marrying a US citizen then filing the petition.

Does your dad have a US passport? If so, why not use that as proof of US citizenship?

Someone correct if I'm wrong, but you could use the Passport information in place of the Naturalization document for question 39.

Why would it be fraud if he marries the mother of his children?

If she gets a hospital to sponsor her she can come through employment, and as an RN she doesn't need a perm. If you guys do decide to get married you can come with her as a dependent. The key  is to find a hospital to sponsor her and willing to go through the process.

Because he would only be marrying her for immigration benefits. He said it himself they are friends only.  This is not an option period!

Goodness ! You're sounding very desperate now. On the BE forum you said there's no way you'd get married again. Now it appears even that would be a consideration if it meant you could get to Florida. What happened with looking into a transfer within BT?

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath
