This is a standard way to organize files but it worked for me. I had 2 packages of files: Personal documents & Bona fide marriage documents.

The personal document package includes IDs, passports, birth certificates, marriage certificate, etc - Originals & copies.

Bona fide marriage document package includes banks, assets, insurance, bills, etc - Originals & Copies.

When the OI asks for personal docs at the beginning, hand them both originals and copies and tell them that copies are for theirs to keep. Same goes with Bona Fide marriage docs. They will greatly appreciate you make copies. After the interview, you should keep all of original docs.

Good luck

Congratulations!

We had our interview today too and we got approved.
I was a F1 student too and my kids were F2.

We applied in March, kids received their AP in May, mine got delayed because my form was rejected. I used the same form as the kid, but it got rejected because it was the old form, kids got approved..lol.

Received my EAD in May as well and had the interview today. We had to get up at 5:00 am and we arrived a half hour before our appointment at 7:30. We didn't dress formally, decent but no fancy stuff. IO didn't ask kids any questions, we were talking about daily stuff will she was checking our files. She asked my husband about his previous divorce and asked me the age of my husband's son. Where we met and what type of visa I entered the country and the dates of entry. Where my husband is working and then she went on and asked if I can tell her my husband's full name and DOB.

Interview was over in approximately 40 minutes in which most of the time she was looking in the files on her desk. She ended by saying: there are no negative things found so give it a maximum of 30 days to receive your green card.

I organized the documents in the same order, only I had to bring in multiple files since it was for a family.I had copies and original documents. The IO asked for one copy.
