Hi!

Has anyone experienced entering YVR(Vancouver International Airport) using Cr1 visa? What kind of questions do they ask? Do you need to make a list of the things you're going to bring to the US?

I had my interview last Thursday (April 12, easy breezy!), got approved and just got my passport with visa visa Xpresspost...wooohoo!

i went through the Vancouver Airport with a Cr1 visa...

I went through the customs and immigration line (think that is what it is called) and told them I had a visa ... they sent me over to immigration... I waited maybe 5 minutes and they called me in... Now I can't remember if I handed the envelope to the first person or if I handed it over now... Anywho they didn't really asked me any questions.. the guy just quickly looked over my package... then took my fingerprints and stamped my passport and sent me on my way... I then went through customs but they didn't really look through my luggage at all...

this was a couple of years ago so I don't know if I remembered everything correctly...

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

Done with USCIS until May 23, 2009!

Congratulations! Tessa! Wow, that's awesome that you have your envelope so you can travel tomorrow! Good luck! I'm sure everything will be fine! =D

I dont have my envelope yet. I'll keep an eye on it for sure!

Feb 1 - Check cashed

Feb 25 - Biometrics

Jun 1 - Approved! (Decision date was May 26, 09)

Now waiting for green card...

Duh! I'm sorry... CONGRATULATIONS! I totally missed where you said you had your interview and got your visa in hand! My eyes are still blurry from AOS paperwork. :P
