do they give you the evidence back?

It is me again.

For those who have already passed the interview, do they give you back the evidence you present? My fiance is sending me the letters I have sent him before but he wants them back.

Some they do others they keep to add to the case file, it is a good idea to have photo copies handy to give the interviewer if you want to keep your originals. Things like birth certificates are good candidates for this. My fiancee got 3 copies of her birth cert, so that the consulate could keep one.

Bring originals to show & you can keep them.

Submit originals at your own risk! (tho I, and a few others, have had originals returned to us after the visa was issued).

They did not keep my husband's birth certificate or police certificate but they kept everything else. (We did the IR1.)
