DS-230 part I & II are filed at the NVC stage for those in applying in Canada, Albania, Turkey, United Arab Emirates or the continent of Africa (could be others but that is what the USCIS website states) For those applying in other countries only the DS-230 part I is filed at NVC with part II completed but not signed and taken to interview.

Have a read of the NVC Flowchart in the Guides section and it gives you a great rundown on the process.......which forms and in what order.

Hi...

The DS-230 will be sent out via the NVC once your case is under way there and things are well in the works. It is one of the last steps in the process...

Check out the NVC flowchart to give you an idea of how things are done....
