Hi everyone, I am applying concurrent I-130 and I-485 AOS for my wife, who is currently residing in US on F-1 student visa.

I have an I-864 Affidavit of Support which I will submit from myself, but it is below necessary income requirements.  It would likely be accepted on Asset requirements, but I am not sure if USCIS will sometimes reject even if Assets are above necessary minimum (I have about 10x required cash assets).

If necessary, I do have an available Joint Sponsor, and a second completed and signed I-864 available from the Joint Sponsor with necessary income requirements.

Should I just submit my own (Petitioner) I-864 first, and wait to see if it's possibly rejected by some small chance ?

Or should I submit the Joint Sponsor's I-864 together with my own I-864, even if the Joint Sponsor I-864 may not be necessary?

At the moment I was planning to submit both I-864's together, with a second cover page on the Joint Sponsor I-864 saying "Joint Sponsor Affidavit of Support IF REQUIRED").

Any suggestions?

I've also heard that some people wait to see if the Petitioner I-864 is rejected, then bring another Joint Sponsor I-864 to the interview later.
