Fees for EAD/AoS?

Do I need to pay a separate fee for the EAD as well as the AoS packet?

 

I know I'm paying $1,225 for the adjustment of status, but my fiance just said we need to pay another $400-odd for the EAD.

 

Is this right?

 

I'm so frustrated with this process-- it feels like every time we get close to finishing we find another fee, form, or piece of evidence we need to provide...

No you do not have to pay extra for your EAD and AP.. they are included in the initial filing fee for you AOS.

I-765 and I-131 are fee waived when filed along with I-485. So, no worries.  it's a long way and a lot of paperwork, but you'll make it

Get it from the source--USCIS.
