Case complete at NVC waiting for interview date

Finally after a long 8 months and several veryyyy long flights (8 months from what i keep hearing is not that long in most eyes but it is to me) to see my husband even if only for a few weeks each time. On July 24 afternoon the NVC tells me (After  calling 3 different days last week) that our case is complete as of july 20 and we should be receiving a email soon with a interview date.  Im curious if anyone has any idea how long it typically takes to get that email with a interview date. Any insight is appreciated.

It took us nearly a month to get interview date. It's Embassay specific from what I've heard though some Embassay is shorter time from & some longer. Our case specifically we had case complete then a week later they mailed our file to the Embassay in Ho Chi Minh City and then 3.5 weeks later we receiver our interview date.

hi @Faith&Mohamed , it depends on how busy the Embassy is, i have been waiting for the interview date since our CC on 24th of May. (64 Days)

Visa Type: IR-2 for both my daughters

Same here! We got a CC on 7/24/17 and had been told by my husband's friend, who had completed this process earlier in Guatemala as well, that he got his notice within 3 days of his appointment...I know it's only been a few days but we are anxiously waiting as well!!
