VisaJouney, it's been 2 years since our last adventure.  How I've missed you and your wonderful source of info.

Working on my wife's I-751 packet.  Any suggestions on things to add?  (No joint car or house leases, we rent the house and the new car would move our interest rate from 0% to 2.5% so we decided against).  No kids.

Here's the checklist we have so far (I hope this list helps others as well).  We plan on filing by end of the month.  Any suggestions?

It looks extraordinary.   But you have so much fine evidence that I would skip

fifteen pages of cards

tax summaries (redundant to tax transcripts)

the affidavits

68 pages of photos. WTH? (Even your Mum wouldn't want to go through that many photos)

Those insurance requests and confirmations. Three Benefits Enrollment proves the point.

You want to convince them, not put them in a coma. You application will lie there forever because nobody wants to pickup something that's going to take a week to wade through. 😱

You would be surprised on the photos.  When my wife had her review to get her green card approved, we brought a photo album.  She went through every single page.  And she took out and submitted (the immigration officer) at least 60 photos to be sent up.

I'll skip the cards.  I'll remove the tax summaries (brain fart on the redundancy).  The affidavits are staying.  Those are notarized and they are wrote by people in the photos.  I can see your point on the insurance requests and confirmations.

As for wait time, as slow as CSC and VSC are, it won't matter on speed.  Besides, saying that an officer is going to ignore an application because they submitted strong evidence may discourage others to not submit enough info, and then get RFE's.  Removing redundancy makes sense, but when it comes to relationship evidence, it's all up to the immigration officer as what is "too much" or "not enough"

It's your application so up to you what you send. I was only sharing my opinion. You don't need to worry about needing more. You have good stuff.

I suppose you don't have a joint checking account or you would have mentioned it. Doesn't matter because you have many other things. With so much evidence you might want to highlight in light yellow the significant point of the numerous documents--his name, her name, date. Then they won't have to search.
