I'm sorry, I've missed too much to ever catch up.

 

We went off to MO into the path of totality and had a great view of the eclipse. Biggest open space I could find was an old cemetery, perfect really, no one else was there, plenty of huge old trees for shade, plenty of low stone walls to sit on while we waited (husband cannot stand). I did take photos, not seen them yet, download cable gone walkabout.

 

Went to TN for the follow-up with the transplant team, and while in clinic they admitted him. One night stay in Nashville turned into three.

 

MIL has had a new key fob for her car sent. She's been driving while we were away. She says the Doc gave her the go-ahead. So far, she has dented the garage door, and clipped a mailbox here in the estate, dinging her wing mirror.  She also sacked the night time sitter.  Anything she's used in the kitchen has been misfiled.

Arg.
