We got most of what we needed then, prepared we man.

This eve, we got more, extra-prepared we man.

 

The traditional supermarkets were mobbed and already out of stuff, sorry they man.

We outsmarted everyone by going to the Mexican supermarket instead, end-run we man.

Customers there were buying water but little else, probably clueless man.

We got all the remaining Bimbo bread, Guatemalan bananas, and various boxes of galletas, junk-food man.

We are quite pleased with ourself, in-&-out man.

Cashieress at Mexican supermarket saw us brandishing our credit card and asked "Cheap?", insert vs. swipe man.

We replied, "Very much, gracias, and we've only just met!" and exited man.

For clarification I am nowhere near 'hot' status, I am middle aged and look it - it was just a store full of desperate men yesterday who found my accent fascinating 😂😂
