I hope he follows through. She doesn't need someone like that.

He's done some other things that make me think he isn't a nice person.  This is just the icing on the cake.  I know it can seem like the pickings are slim once you hit your 30s, but better to be single than deal with this type of behavior.

From a man's standpoint...

When I was a younger guy, I've always heard from my older friends that if a woman is in her 30s and still single never married unattached, there's probably something wrong with her.

And in my experience, that was usually the case.

She's a nice girl, but simple if you catch my drift.    She just needs someone on the same level.

As to women in their 30s, this is becoming a new trend amongst my peers.  I know a couple of single ladies in that range and it is mostly just due to them being career-focused.  Then, by the time you are 30ish, it is so hard to find a good guy.  Such is life.

I'm not going to say I'm the exception to the rule.. but... I married at 35 and dated my husband at 33. I was single by choice (mas vale sola que mal acompañada = better to be by yourself than in bad company). Granted. My husband and I had been friends for 10 years before any of this happened, so I didn't just dated/married the first dude that came around

Now to pick on stretch...

who is probably miserable right now from the heat.

May I suggest hooking up a 3 inch duct to the hillbilly's truck interior vent, and run it into the house. then leave the truck running...

Now, first order of business/ gossip....

You guys remember my architect friend? Who kept the socialite with the juvenile delinquent daughter as a mistress?

Well, he dumped her a couple of months back, because he found a new and improved mistress in his office. Younger, prettier. Btw, both these broads work in this office. And things got ugly lol.

The socialite, lacking friends, calls me constantly. I'm like, stop fing calling me! You're a terrible woman! Go save your daughter!

Next, my friend, in a show of face, gives my number to this new broad, and now she constantly pesters me too!

I met this person only once! In passing!

The story is. She was with this guy, her fiancee, and she elected to be her boss's kept woman over being that other guy's fiancee. Then it got ugly...

The ex damaged her car, I get called. The ex's family harasses her, I get called.

The ex's folks stole her documents, I get called.

Then, she discovered that she's pregnant. She says her ex is the father. I think it's the architect. But still, I get called.

She went to D.C. for an abortion (I dunno why there). I'm still getting called!!

<Sig> FFS...

I'm telling you, one day I'm gonna go fishing, and I'm chucking my phones into the water.

Speaking of fishing, I haven't gone fishing once this year...

Maybe she's hoping that you'll bring her less drama if she were your mistress.

Seriously, though, what kind of adult woman goes telling someone she barely met that she's terminating a pregnancy?  Some things should remain private.
