So much schoolwork this first week, based on schedules they seem to be front loading.  Why?  #dead #sickofanatomy

 

I just told the Dane that I'm taking a solo trip somewhere fun like Iceland when I finally graduate.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

2.  As a stopgap measure, try drinking from a Solo plastic cup that has Ice in it, but don't Trip while doing so, Nola-B. ma'am.

Mrs. T-B. gets Many cents per word for doing translations, pay-rate she man.

She is subcontracting some of this work to furrin countries for barely Many cents/word and even <2 cents/word, savvy she man.

Now, if she could only remember to keep the cat inside, ADD otherwise she man.

And she again forgot to awaken us from our nap so that we could watch the late-TV weather, incipient hurricane man.

I'm OK with this morning of 64º... it felt nice!

OMG.

 

So, one of my relative's fiancé just posted this rant on their wedding event page about how he's cancelling the wedding because her family won't pay enough towards it.

 

Her family used to have a lot money, but are basically broke at the moment from supporting adult children and not saving enough towards retirement.  They don't have any to spare.

 

He's a classless jerk and I hope she dumps him.
