Actually having an opinion is okay, spewing hatred is not.  You can hate all you want if you keep your trap shut.   Even on VJ.  If someone interferes with your enjoyment of the site, if they say something racist, sexist or otherwise horrendous about a group, please report the heck out of that post.

I think most of them walk on a very fine, gray area. No one has been personally racist or hateful towards me or anyone that I've noticed, so I haven't had a reason to report them. Even if I completely disagree with their opinions I understand their right to have one, it just makes me incredibly sad how black and white their minds are. They are clearly resentful and hateful towards undocumented people, and while I don't condone it, I at least have some empathy and I certainly don't rejoice when they get hurt/deported.

Well, it is super depressed now because I grated 7 of them last night.  Made some into this http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/monument-cafe-whole-wheat-zucchini-herb-bread-recipe-2042528 with fresh basil from the garden.   I have another 4 sitting around that I picked.  I might give one or two of them away.

Closing Mexico City after six adorable months filled with these charming events:

* First apartment is expensive, deceptively small and has screaming kids outside. I endure three months.

* 600 dollar machine breaks, I sent it to be repaired. Bought a second one, also 600 dollars of course.

* My husband visits me but I'm suffering from the worst PMS in history, the poor man.

* I visit Cuba and get sick, so I stay part of the trip in bed. I manage to come back to Mexico sooner.

* I arrive to find out that the new apartment is getting evicted, 250 buck deposit was stolen from me.

* Third apartment is nice, decent priced and big, but has a leaky roof/ 5 flights of stairs. Still the best option.

* Clients start moving around their appointments, it's incredibly hot, I can't sleep. I hate all of my tattoos.

*Travel to Canada with my husband. He is sad/moody most of the trip, second worst PMS in history.

* Second 600 dollar machine breaks. The first one is still being repaired to this date after two months.

* I'm running trying to find my card information for the third machine, I fall down the stairs, my ankle swells up.

* I bought a 200 dollar machine instead, works pretty decently. Bought a second one...just in case.

* I can't walk well, my ankle hurts still. I had to keep working and  I had so much paperwork to do.

*My husband visits again. Keeps being sad. We have a serious talk about both ruining our trips together

* It starts raining, as in, every single friggin' day. More delays and cancellations. At least it's not hot now.

* Clients keep trying to move their appointments almost daily but I have no more space to move them to.

* Last week. Thanks, sweet Jesus.

Nearly time to move to a more settled period for you ( I hope! )

Wish people could be banned for being big ol' racist, bigoted poopheads with no compassion for others.

Unfortunately having an opinion doesn't violate any terms or conditions, and they have the right to spew their hate. Sigh.

I just have to remind myself they are not all alike. There are still a lot of good, decent people in the world.

My Granny used to say opinions are like bum holes, everyone has one but you don't want someone else's shoved in your face...

I think there are more good folk in the world than those filled with hate or self importance, the latter just shout loud and do little.

#drowninginzucchini and now #waytoomuchyellowsquash

Next year I need to keep in mind that one zucchini plant is plenty.

No such thing as too much zucchini!

Day off from chauffeuring redneck today, will hopefully get out in the yard with the weed eater and make it look all today again

Going to baseball tonight, only our local team but they're playing a team in the Atlanta farm system so I'll get to see some maybe future Braves 😃

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Did you get yourself one of those spiralizers? Zucchini noodles for all!

I have some extra zucchini at home and was thinking about making zucchini-banana bread.

I haven't experienced any of the above yet but, with the current climate, I've been practicing everything that will say if anyone decides to launch at me for speaking in Spanish. Sad that I even have to consider that.
