Where you are, having good winter tires, even ones that are studded, would be a good idea for you.  I think putting them on separate rims would be a good idea personally.  I like steel wheels in winter because a) extra weight, and b) it doesn't cost as much to replace them if you hurt them.  Here we don't see enough snow to bother with winter tires unless I got them at a really good deal.

They're not as popular as they once were.  Leave them on too long and they can cause excess wear, damage roads,etc.. I see/hear them here for people normally in the mountains.  They're normally more expensive as well and with all wheel drive cars, you need 4. If you dont get studded,  a specific winter tire would be better than all seasons for sure.  Plus you get more wear put of them.

We shake our head in sympathy at anyone who voluntarily remains in Arctic climes and has to worry about this stuff, been there blown it off man.

Did they hose you intentionally because of getting higher bids from more recent would-be viewers, huh ma'am?

If you have a written contract (e.g., a printed Internet reservation), go to legal town with them, we sure would ma'am.

One hotel from the year 1ManyManyMany is still quivering in its boots over what we did to them, veritably man.

Mini-B.'s "meet the teechur" function at his skool went well, si man.

We closed the POTS office early and drove like an illegitimate male child to make it, speed we man.

Of course, Mrs. T-B. was nearly an hour later there than were we, delay she man.

 

Teechur has Many (2+1) years of said experience, new-yet-broken-in and enthusiastic she man.

Started with first grade, then Many'th (2+2th) grade, then re-requested first grade, found her niche man.

She is young, energetic, probably first-generation Chinese*, and obviously bright, impressive she man.

 

*Although her surname is pronounced "Sioux," Native-American perhaps she man

 

Mrs. T-B. finally arrived with all the skool supplies, 2-armed she man.

Mini-B. was excited and has a couple of last year's classmates, wee man.

He and one of them found some magnets in the room and began playing with them right there, active wee man.

We are optimistic, optimistic we man.
