Good morning all! Mini-C has an ear infection and that kept me away for a couple of days. I wanted to pop back in and say thank you for all the kind words and virtual hugs.

Welcome back, T

Oh man Tbone sorry the Mrs is hurting. I wouldn't get a steroid shot if it was the last thing on earth. They had those out like candy here.

Grade 1 is terrible. Of course the Tornado found out her best friend changed schools. Funny how the kids mom teaches there but won't keep her kid there. She won the lottery to get into a better school.

It's only been a week and the stuff that comes out of her mouth makes me wonder what they teach there.

I need to get outside to check on my chickens. up to 22 now. I originally wanted 6

Image result for chicken math

I put my land to good use.

I have two peach trees, two nectarine, three plums, 3 grape vines, somewhere around 12 blueberry bushes, blackberry bushes, and herb garden, veggie garden (which btw I need to get my winter stuff planted.)  and of course the chickens. I'd get more animals but sadly I live in town and not allowed

That's definitely not a ringing endorsement of the school.  Pretty much all the teachers have their kids in our school or did at some point.  The rest all get pregnant soon after getting hired out of college.

A lot of the smaller school districts in our part of the state are shrinking or consolidating again (after doing it once in the 80s/90s).  Ours is in a growth and hold steady pattern.  It is actually bigger than it was 20 years ago, which is practically unheard of for here.  They are running out of room and probably wondering why they consolidated in the first place.  :jest:

Come to think of it, the school district north of us would probably think of consolidating into ours because they almost don't have the population anymore to support subject teachers in the high school, but like I said, we don't have the room.

Oh poor Mini C, ear ache is horrible :(

I have a feeling MIL has invited herself to the wedding stepdaughter is at, she's not been invited and knows no one there except stepdaughter - I really hope she hasn't, the kid needs to be able to go out and be a kid with her friends without an adult hovering all the time and she's been so excited over this for months  **sigh**

2.  She's got a high pain tolerance:  the only reason she didn't die from her not very painful infected appendix bursting was that she threatened to have our family sue the surgeon if he didn't operate on her immediately.

Hahaha gross!

Just got a report from daycare and he hasn't eaten much, but I guess it's logical since he is not feeling well.

I had to have 3 different sessions of steroid shots last year after discovering that the excruciating pain I was feeling came from a giant herniated disk. I've been OK ever since they gave those to me. I can't lift any weight over my shoulders and it's bothersome still, but nothing close to what it was then.

Hope Sra. T-Bone feels better soon <3
