I'm a little disappointed with GEICO for pulling a shyster sleaze ball stunt...

I was on the phone with them, adding the new car, without canceling the old car. Anyway...they're like "would you like the extended warranty?" 

I'm like....dude...(she was a woman), I'm leasing the car for 3 years....

My older kid loves those frozen TV dinners...

Strangely, she's not getting fat from them.

Closing Mexico City after six adorable months filled with these charming events:

 

* First apartment is expensive, deceptively small and has screaming kids outside. I endure three months. 

* 600 dollar machine breaks, I sent it to be repaired. Bought a second one, also 600 dollars of course. 

* My husband visits me but I'm suffering from the worst PMS in history, the poor man. 

* I visit Cuba and get sick, so I stay part of the trip in bed. I manage to come back to Mexico sooner. 

* I arrive to find out that the new apartment is getting evicted, 250 buck deposit was stolen from me. 

* Third apartment is nice, decent priced and big, but has a leaky roof/ 5 flights of stairs. Still the best option.

* Clients start moving around their appointments, it's incredibly hot, I can't sleep. I hate all of my tattoos.

*Travel to Canada with my husband. He is sad/moody most of the trip, second worst PMS in history. 

* Second 600 dollar machine breaks. The first one is still being repaired to this date after two months. 

* I'm running trying to find my card information for the third machine, I fall down the stairs, my ankle swells up.

* I bought a 200 dollar machine instead, works pretty decently. Bought a second one...just in case. 

* I can't walk well, my ankle hurts still. I had to keep working and  I had so much paperwork to do. 

*My husband visits again. Keeps being sad. We have a serious talk about both ruining our trips together 

* It starts raining, as in, every single friggin' day. More delays and cancellations. At least it's not hot now.

* Clients keep trying to move their appointments almost daily but I have no more space to move them to.

Wish people could be banned for being big ol' racist, bigoted poopheads with no compassion for others.

Unfortunately having an opinion doesn't violate any terms or conditions, and they have the right to spew their hate. Sigh.

I just have to remind myself they are not all alike. There are still a lot of good, decent people in the world.

Actually having an opinion is okay, spewing hatred is not.  You can hate all you want if you keep your trap shut.   Even on VJ.  If someone interferes with your enjoyment of the site, if they say something racist, sexist or otherwise horrendous about a group, please report the heck out of that post.
