The what?

I do not like the on-call weekends my husband has.  :(    Depending on how many calls, he can be gone a lot....and he'll just drive the 45 minutes home to get another call and be back out again.

Also, I do not like the pediatrician's office.  Went in to do a physical and a booster for the younger kid and of course, he gets a cold from touching all the things that could be touched.  At least I don't get pink eye every time here like I did back in CT.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

1- Dutch people like to work hard. Makes them feel functional...

2- do what I do, submerge the kids hands in alcohol for 3 hours after each doctors visit.

3- hey I bet you never thought of using Listerine in place of alcohol...

That is the cutest thing I think I've seen a chicken do.

Sorry just got back on. I'll post another picture in a few from this morning.

Why do they go broody?

Some breeds go broody more then others. The big egg producers tend to do it less. I have 6 of them and the new babies (6) are also big producers.

Aww cute 🐔

I went to Tractor Supply yesterday, didn't get any chicks 🐥 though

Is a bit soggy underfoot out there this morning.

It's been soggy here too. I blame my husband on these chicks. He wanted more large to jumbo egg layers.

Chickens like to go broody....

This one and my silkies are notorious for it. But they make really good moms.

30 years of shift work, all of it 2 12 hours days, followed right away by 2 12 hours nights then 4 days off, has ruined my sleep pattern. I take forever to fall asleep and wake at the slightest sound, and stay awake. My Husband, on the other hand, falls asleep the instant his head hits the pillow and can sleep right through. Even if he is awakened he can go right back to sleep. I'm perpetually tired.

Cute chicks!

i used to be able to fall asleep like that too. Sadly now it's only my husband and I want to strangle him at times for it. :P

She's so small they can't fit all under her. The funny part will be when they get bigger then her.
