We used to hang out at a great place near the drop zone in NZ. The Parakai Pub Family Bar. Kids in and out all day, but not after 8.

I live in a dry county now, the nearest place to get a meal and a drink is over the county line. Just over :)

There are dry counties?

We were never a fan of taking the kids to the pub, especially back when you could still smoke in them

But if you take the kids you can't relax, have a drink and just enjoy the evening.

Sub Floor has been cleaned, levels evened out and ready for the hardwood :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

There sure are. But this is not a dry house. Not that I drink. Good thing, or I'd never be sober!

Sub floor? I need a nap reading about all that!

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It's not that bad lol and already looks a million times better :)

Subfloor was concrete, with lots of bumpy bits, it's now level and has a plywood top layer...don't blame me, redneck built the house

We have a drink now & then - you'd be forgiven for thinking alcohol was a big thing if you saw rednecks stash tho 😂😂

Yeah Hillbillies and rednecks always have a stash.

Difference is....

A hillbilly will empty his stash daily :)

A redneck will bank his booze for special occasions. Such as when he shoots a deer.

Or he caught a big bass.

Or if he's sitting down.

Or standing up.

Driving.

walking.

etc....

lmao

The Hillbillies parents live in a dry county too. I thought it was the weirdest thing ever.

I don't drink good thing too. I would hate to see myself as my sisters.

4am is not quite the lazy morning I was hoping for - thanks Oscar 😴

Redneck never gets up when he needs to - unless he's going to a shooting match in which case he's up, dressed and out the house in record time 😂

Reasons I don't have a dog:  I enjoy sleep, I don't want to go for a walk when it is -20, the puke and the poop on the floor, and the extra cleaning.

I really waaaaant one though, they are so cute.

But yet you have children? So much for sleep and no poop or puke!
