I really want good fish and chips.  One place has them but theyre too expensive for me right now. :(

I love fish & chips, we have a few places that do a decent version but one gave me a pot of 'malt vinegar ' the other day - I covered my fish & chips, dug in and discovered they'd given me apple cider vinegar eeeeewwww

It's a little place called Maggie Smiths Irish Pub and the closest thing to a real pub down here, minus that all pubs, sports bars, and taverns seem to let kids in... ####### USA? Lol

They have fish and chips, bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage, plus regular pub food.  A huge selection of irish whiskey and scot whisky too.  Really busy at night and missing some pool tables too

I want to go there!

In Canada, anything with the label pub or bar or tavern where their primary business is alcohol  (including the bar side of a restaurant) is no kids allowed.

Fish and chips!  I miss those. I found a pub in LR that had them, the Fox and Hound. We went in there two weeks ago to have that very thing, and they have taken them off the menu. That was the only place I've found.

We are having Shepards Pie tonight, and then I need to make a run to Rehab. The MIL has taken up choking on anything she eats and wetting the bed, so a laundry swap over. Boy, I'm living the life eh?  :P

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Rednecks brother lives in Colorado Springs, we were there last year, stayed long enough to watch the Rockies play Texas & then I came down with lymes disease and we had to come home.

Definitely going to go again now 👍

In Ontario  sport bars, and stuff. They serve food and are open before noon then kids are allowed. The drink your brains out bars don't open till later don't think I've ever seen food.

There was a really nice place called the underground pub in LR. Oh man they had some good fish and chips. It's not there anymore which bummed me out.

Oh no that is not good.

They let kids into anywhere that serves food, usually kick the kids out about 9pm.

Pad thai - noodles, shrimp, onions, egg and ginger sauce - is really good

They don't do haddock that's for sure.

Hubs loves shepherds pie.  Cottage pie too.  He also loves perogies which is much harder to find here.
