I've been busy ripping off 4 layers of wallpaper and god knows how many layers of paint off the wall.

I'm taking a break a few minutes before I go pick up the Tornado, from scraping off popcorn ceiling. I hate that stuff they put it in every room including the bathrooms:girlwerewolf2xn:

Yuck, sounds difficult.  Everyone here does textured ceilings, which is like popcorn lite.  I think it is to hide imperfections in the drywall taping or something.

You know, ceilings are always imperfect. Comes from the warping and sagging of the above joists. Joists have to fight gravity. And foot traffic if there's a floor above.

Ceiling paints are formulated to be thick, and 1 coat coverage. Ceiling coats should be the thickness of egg shells.

Here is a fun story/quandary:

Family in town hasn't paid taxes on a house they own in at least 6 years.  Tax authority has yet to make steps to seize the house for auction.  How many years does it take?

I'm sure the rest of the town would like to see them gone.

The house was damaged recently and they generally like to complain about everyone in town.  They also both don't work and not for a lack of jobs within even a square mile.  They are kind of missing that Minnesota attitude that we all enjoy.

Should I send them your way if I find out they do eat spiders?
