Today I saw someone from April approved after 160 days.

My husband and I applied in February, we have been waiting for 231 days and counting. There are people waiting for over 300 days.

It is getting increasingly hard to remain patient and not want to scream a lot of profanities just thinking about USCIS and Nebraska.

I binged watched the first 8 episodes of ''before the 90 days'' and sure, it's filth and that's the point, but I did laugh and oh lord,

so much cringe. These people swearing they're in love and wanting to get married after meeting these people for a few days,

sure they've been talking online but that doesn't justify the rush. It is entertaining, for sure!

**HuGS* That is a very long wait. I hope it ends soon.

That show is SO cringy, I couldn't bear to watch. The guy and girlf from Brasil that cannot communicate to save their lives ... he is also a bit ... humm odd

I'm only 15 minutes into that show and I can already tell that it is more of the same from TLC... normal people don't want their lives on TV.

We remember this, sigh D2 ma'am.

We loudly cursed USCIS to ourself and were going bananas, impatient we man.

We were the very last in our monthly filers' group to be approved, Many (2+2+2) months man.

And it wouldn't have happened had we not phoned USCIS, no man.

A kindly officer learned that our file was languishing on a transfer station for who knows how long, gather dust man.

We asked if he could send a message to the floor, asking them to send it where it needed to go.

Within a few days, we got our NOA2, approved man.

And then the real fun started, with the ####### ####### ####### Guayaquil consulate, grrrRRRRR man.

It was a relief to return to dealings with USCIS, that's how bad it was man.

And now Mrs. T-B. is a ciudadana Americana, esposo joder she man, si ma'am.

thank you, it's really scary to think that they can and do mess up CONSTANTLY.

We are definitely doing whatever we can, e-request, Congress. We will call more often and see what happens.

I can only imagine how bad your consulate was, I know Juarez is no walk on the park but geesh. I am so happy she is a ciudadana now :) after all the struggle! you guys deserve it.

Cooler here today, nice out even. I wish it would last, but it isn't meant to.

Driving Miss Daisy out to the cemetery today. It's the one she 'runs', and there was an episode out there about this time last year, in which she gave the okey-dokey for two unrelated families to use the same plot. Nobody knew about the mistake until one of the families erected a headstone, and the other objected. Vehemently. Headstone had to be shifted, and one of the parties disinterred. Very Bad Language ensued.

Now she has to locate the space belonging to a family, in the old part of the cemetery, which is mostly unmarked now. That area starts at the early 1800's, and many of them didn't have stones to start with, only wooden markers now long gone. You have to stand at the south side and look along the last line of marked graves, in order to spot the depressions in the grass that indicate In Use. She thinks there is space for the urn, according to the mapping but isn't positive. We don't want a repeat of last years excitement. She thinks I am going because she believes it's too far for her to drive, and then walk the cemetery, and she knows she would be too tired to drive home. I'm actually going because I want to make sure she isn't screwing it up. That last episode took months to resolve.

I don't mind going, it's an interesting place and I like cemeteries on the whole. It's just that there are about 3 hours ahead of me, cooped up with her in the car all the way there and back that's the worst part. She never ever stops talking.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Oh my.. I hope it's OK that laughed at this. If you need recommendations on that wine will hit the spot once you are back from chauffering Ms. Daissy, I have a few recommendations. If not, we can always go for the hard liquor!  I know I would need it if I were you.

I did not know that... I may go to the post next door and read about it. I truly could not get passed it. I had the same cringy feeling with the other TLC show about the K1 but I was able to tolerate it a bit more.

they really went overboard with this one, especially since they all seem ready for marriage after a few months of online dating and not meeting in person, or wanting to elope the minute they meet.

I really do hope most of them are paid actors or just in it for the exposure. Especially since many seemed to be being used for immigration purposes, like a guy that met this Filipino woman that has only dated Americans and annoyingly calls him ''love'' instead of his name.

Been busy house breaking puppy, raking leaves. I normally would just cut them up with the mower but I'm putting them to use this time.

I thought it was a bad idea to keep all of your eggs in one basket.

That's one of the things that keeps me from being able to watch much of these shows. Especially the 90-day fiancee one .. those are the ones that start showing the visa a tryout visa and I get pissed off at the TV :girlwerewolf2xn:

I'm "educating" myself reading the post about the show... my goodness LOL

it does annoy me how they make the VISA like a tryout VISA, which is completely ridiculous.

but dammit they're entertaining to watch, they make me feel better about my life, for sure!
