When she got back tho the school, her teachers asked her if she had lunch, which she did. 

She sure is getting pampered...

So yes, she was happier when she got back to her own school. She took all the pins out and let her hair down like a flower child. 

This school is awesome. The whole district is awesome. 

#3 in the city in state test scores. 

Which means, it's gonna draw even more kids, even if they don't live here...

I wish I could keep my MIL off WebMd. She goes there, and looks up her meds, and decides her problems are all down to the pills she is on, and then she stops taking them.

I did the same thing with my MIL, she spins her yarns, I tell him what is really going on, I get black looks. And so I got the boot

Today I saw someone from April approved after 160 days.

 

My husband and I applied in February, we have been waiting for 231 days and counting. There are people waiting for over 300 days.

It is getting increasingly hard to remain patient and not want to scream a lot of profanities just thinking about USCIS and Nebraska.

 

I binged watched the first 8 episodes of ''before the 90 days'' and sure, it's filth and that's the point, but I did laugh and oh lord,

so much cringe. These people swearing they're in love and wanting to get married after meeting these people for a few days,

sure they've been talking online but that doesn't justify the rush. It is entertaining, for sure!

When I filed there were people getting approved in less than 30 days, some 17.... and then they'd come and make a brag post about it.

 

I think we spent 4 days in person before getting engaged.

ugh that would've driven me CRAZY. Some posts do feel like bragging, and although I get the excitement, it's a slap in the face to those of us that continue to wait.  Especially when they complain about the wait and we're here waiting even twice as long as them just, shrugging and looking around like the John Travolta Meme. 

 

really? 4 days! that's also crazy, but in a romantic and adorable way since it clearly worked out <3 and you knew.

But if you watch the show this is the creepy, cringe-inducing not romantic side of the quick engagement!

 

My husband and I dated for three months (in person, lived together for one) then spent the following two months long distance, and he proposed at the five-month mark.

We've been apart for officially a year now, since the beginning of September of last year, with the occasional visit. sigh.

We remember this, sigh D2 ma'am.

We loudly cursed USCIS to ourself and were going bananas, impatient we man.

We were the very last in our monthly filers' group to be approved, Many (2+2+2) months man.

And it wouldn't have happened had we not phoned USCIS, no man.

A kindly officer learned that our file was languishing on a transfer station for who knows how long, gather dust man.

We asked if he could send a message to the floor, asking them to send it where it needed to go.

Within a few days, we got our NOA2, approved man.

And then the real fun started, with the ####### ####### ####### Guayaquil consulate, grrrRRRRR man.

It was a relief to return to dealings with USCIS, that's how bad it was man.

And now Mrs. T-B. is a ciudadana Americana, esposo joder she man, si ma'am.

The Spanish language really needs to have more words that are short enough to fit the haiku form, frankly man.
