One of the houses on my block just came up for sale and I'm looking at it later.  It might be a good alternative to an extension on our house, an exceedingly good one.

 

Even so, I'm worried about having my mother live that close.  Yesterday's waste of time and getting on my nerves was about how she thinks the older child is perfect and everything wrong with her is our fault.  She's stubborn and hates challenges because I moved her to Denmark or because we don't try hard enough.  :bonk:  yeah, ok.  The only reason that kid can read or write right now is because of the thousands of hours of work we put into getting her there whilst ignoring the crying that went along with it.

 

Apparently, I also favor the younger one.  You know the one who hours before that conversation took off his diaper and took a poo on my floor and who right now is in a different room because the 4 hours of forcefulness, whining, and screaming has done me in.

 

What planet is she living on?

Unfortunately for her she doesn't appreciate the power of the internet, her sister put a long post on FB about her poor sisters declining health (she's  physically in very good shape and has  nothing wrong with her hear!) Once I saw the post and had picked my jaw off the floor I replied to let everyone know her doctors report says she is in incredibly good condition for her age and that since she had her bypass 15 years ago her heart has been fine!

 

MIL is not talking to me 😁

Thanks. But here she is lol...

 

 

The principal has arranged for her to be tutored in the academics that she'll miss, and the violin teacher has volunteered to instruct her whenever possible. 

The kid has amazing support from the school.
