Planning my work trip to Monterrey in exactly one week. A friend is visiting me from the US and we will spend a few days sipping margaritas by the ocean.  

 

I need to stay active since it keeps my mind off of the process, I figured it would get ''easier'' as time progressed and it did for a second, but since we are getting close to 8 months, I'm getting impatient and tired. I know a lot of people are waiting up to 10 months or more but come on Nebraska. Don't be like that

 

Rewatching House, from the beginning, after I binge-watched ''The good Place''. I might be the only one that likes the show, but hey, it's funny.

Away for a couple of days, we were in Kansas. Long drive made longer by roadworks. Really, a three-lane motorway narrowed down to one lane was never going to be a good idea.  I couldn't work out why there were 7 miles of road cones further along either. No construction there at all, but still only one lane for that distance. 

 

The MIL seems to have managed. The dog seemed relieved to see us. She has reorganized the kitchen again, unintentionally. There are copper pots where the coffee cups live. I went out at 22:00 last night with a torch and brought in three days mail. There was so much stuff in the mailbox it was falling out on the lawn. I'd have thought she'd notice, particularly as the box chimes and a red light comes on here in the house anytime it's opened.

 

Weather guy says cooler weather coming! I cannot wait

It is.  But it saves a long walk in the weather trying to work out if the postman has or hasn't been. My Husbands meds come in the post, and I don't like them to sit out there in extremes of heat or cold.

 Keeping busy definitely helps but we know what it's like. This too shall pass! Just a little longer!
