05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Today is Cyber Wednesday and the POTS orders are pouring in, flood we man.

We do. Our accent in Spanish and the dialect is much different than other Spanish speaking countries, but it also depends on which part of Argentina people are. If they are from Mendoza (where most Malbecs come from), for example,  their accept (even if they hate it) sounds more Chilean. Cordoba has an awesome and fun accept that just makes you happy when you hear them. Us people from the Buenos Aires Province and all the way down to Patagonia have the "harsh" accent comes mostly from our Italian grandparents and that make people think we are angry. 

 

Uruguay is the only other country that shares our accent

Speaking of babalooing..

Someone gave me a giant watermelon 🍉. 

The little turtle 🐢 has been eating it all week. 

But I think it's making her poo like 10 times a day...

Oh Lord, no! If it was 2002 is "that who shall not be named". This <insert not nice name> became our president and ###### it all up
