Not doing anything because you hate the mayor? Madness!

The rest is a conversation I'd like to have sometime.

The mayor won't back the cops either. The city's sentiment is pretty anti-cop, except the good neighborhoods. Like my neighborhood, we like the cops. And likewise, they like us.

The cops have this general attitude now. If I do nothing, then I can do nothing wrong.

And that pretty much sums up everything that is wrong with the country :(

Actually, that is far from summing up what is wrong with this country lol

But anyway, we don't debate here, we don't talk politics.

Ok now here's a gripe...

Tiff was home with nothing to do.

So, naturally, she must rearrange the cupboard with all the medicine and supplements in it. Buries the mega red in the back corner. But I take this everyday!

I made her fish it out for me.

This is a supplement which she makes sure she sends her father twice a year. But it's ok if I don't take it...

That's why I had it in the FRONT!

Oh ####, now this Maria just became a Cat 5 hurricane.....

Yeah, I've been following that.  We had relatives who used to live in the Virgin Islands and we travelled there when we got back to America.  I've been seeing the posts on FB about how bad it already is and then to top it off this hurricane... The coast guard was evacuating because so many houses were damaged, they just wouldn't hold up to another storm.  Their shelters took heavy damage last time too.

Still alive, still in Tokyo.

I fly back to Mexico City tomorrow, and even though I'll miss Japan I can't wait to be back and relax for a bit, get ready for traveling again and working.

I thought the traveling would distract me from the process and it helped a bit, but it just makes me want to miss my husband more and wish he was here with me.

Also what's with all the hurricanes, earthquakes and typhoons? Oh but global warming isn't a thing, right.

Store manager has offered me anything I want (except a raise) if I'll stay, hours of my choosing and any department I want

Trouble is I'm not convinced he can follow through.

Call his bluff and accept, T ma'am.  The POTS company did this for us when we were new, and now we run the place, whee man.
