We have decided that the negligible rewards of me working at HD are outweighed by the negatives - shifts are crazy, work until 11pm and back in at 8am and working every weekend - I'm permanently exhausted and am getting very little time with family.

I know I want to get out and have some life outside of the family but I don't want it at the expense of it.

I'm giving notice and working on making my resume more US applicable and will wait for the right opportunity this time

I'm sorry that it didn't work out.  Some business really don't respect their employees.

That really sucks. They are very accommodating with my sons scheduled. They even give two days off in a row and on the weekend. Something Lowes would never give him. 

I'm starting to think this job in interviewed in Texas maybe offering him a job. They've asked for his driving record and college transcript.

I've had to worse ever headache of my life. I think it was a migraine. I had to go to bed as it was messing with my eyes. I couldn't see right, and it made keeping an eye on the kids very difficult. I had to have them both in the buggy. I went back to the truck while the Hillbilly got my zip-ties for me. 

 

Slept most of the afternoon and still woke up with a it took 4 advil since it was too soon for more Tylenol. 

 

Now I need to soak some mung beans for bean sprouts. The kids want me to make chicken chop suey and not the way they do it here but like back home with bean sprouts.

Migraines suck. I've had a few and all I want to do is curl up on the bathroom floor and cry. My mother used to get them all the time, she had to carry Imitrex with her. Always knew they were getting better when she burped.  😂

Complaint, but not complaint of the week:

 

While I appreciate that my class is taking almost no time at all out of my busy week, I am wondering how the heck an upper level business class takes 1/20 the amount of work if not less of my math classes.

 

I feel like some of us might be working harder for our degrees than others.

Only drawback is that he'd have to pay sales tax on in-state purchases of pre-owned toilet seats, sigh man.

Two of our ESs were in or near flood-ravaged areas, proximal man.

Curb after curb after curb of casa-debris and ruined possessions, for many blocks past the bayou, horrifying man.

 

The take, see man:

-- 2 boxes cotton swabs; new-in-package ice bag = $2-&-a-half, deal man

-- sweatshirt; 2 partial boxes laser mailing-labels in fluorescent colors = $1-&-a-half, deal man

-- Trabaldo Togna merino-wool Many- (2+2)-button suit*; Many (2+2) dress-shirts (1 T. Hilfiger, Many [2+1] 

      Austin Reed of London) = $Many ($2x2x2x2x2), steal man

Total = $Many ($2x2x2x2x2+2+2), steal man

Broken-record rant, grrr man:

 

It has been established that Mrs. T-B. consistently gets bleach on dark bathmats and consistently gets hair-color, blood*, or both on white bathmats & towels,  man.

 

*never trust that which bleeds for a week yet does not die, oj nie

 

During this past week, drum roll man, Mrs. T-B.:

1.  Got blood all over our brand-new, very fancy yellow bathmat from last weekend's ES, grrr man; and

2.  Got hair-color & blood (both, she thinks) all over one of her softest white bath towels, grrr man.

 

Tonight, we soaked both in laundry-stain pretreatment, soak we man.

We laundered both on "Heavy Duty" cycle, hot warsh hot rinse fast spin man.

The bathmat somehow came clean, mirabile visu et dictu man.

The towel still looks like something from a Harvey-flooded casa, might as well curbside it man.

 

As her punishment, we have just devoured -- in its entirety -- a large milk-chocolate bar imported by her from Ecu, ingest in entirety we man.
