I'd be a ruthless urban planner - knock down houses for mass transit and bicycle lanes, etc.

 

Surprisingly, very little inter-mixing of those two populations, more like:  Hans Pedersen-Ignaswski or  Pedro Little Bear Ruiz-Lightfeather.

 

Now that there has been an influx of Mexican-Texicans (do they have a name?), it becomes more ethnically separated still.

Heard on a neighborhood group that National Guardsmen at the municipal airport had adequate food but needed sodas, thirsty man.

Mini-B. & we took a couple of cases there, road trip we & wee man.

It turned out to be U.S. Army, even more impressive man.

Mini-B. got to watch helicopters take off, delighted wee man.

He also demonstrated his finger-spinner to 2 Army privates from Utah, demonstrable wee man.

With proper separated bike lanes like in the Netherlands and Denmark, there will be no opportunity for you to hit them.  Maybe small countries, but states could learn from both of their commitments to infrastructure.  While we were living there, a new suburb was being expanded/built and the government made sure that light rail was brought out to it before the construction on the houses was even done.

 

A little bummed because they put light rail right next to our old apartments too in the process.  Would have been handy.

Just been out walking the dog. It's lovely and cool! First day of autumn, my favourite season

 

The Husband thinks he is well enough to go back to the Texas Renn this October.  No way will he ever do Pennsic again, with all his gear and meds there is no way he can be camping out anymore for days on end. We went last year to TX over Thanksgiving week-end, to avoid irritating relatives and their out of control littlies. He will have to go back to TN to see Neurology November, and of course, they don't give you much notice.

I hope he's up to it. Now I have to remember where that heap of garb was stored...

I just tried watching this Canadian tv series with Canadian actors in a Canadian city....trying to pretend they were detectives in New York.  I couldn't even get through 5 minutes.  Couldn't they have made it Vancouver or something?
