08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Final report for tonight, reconnaissance man.

 

Water now about one yard up the driveway, long driveway thankfully man.

Rain has picked up again, enough already man.

If rain doesn't increase, we should be OK overnight, deep hope man.

 

TV weatherman says that the rain should begin letting up sometime tomorrow, let's hope man.

Radar prediction seems to show it anywhere from Many (2+1) a.m. to afternoon, dance the tightrope in latter case man.

We hope for a continued power innage so that we can report further, hope man.

Killed a brown recluse at work today.  Normally we have grass spiders.

 

Had to kill a mouse yesterday, ###### sticky traps are horrible.  I woke up with nightmares this morning.... :(
