Mrs. T-B. has just inflated Mini-B's large pool for potential use as a raft, brilliant she man.

The pool raft is in the garage, obstructing access to either -mobile man.

What did we marry besides a non-rubia, huh and :bonk: man?

Not a bad idea, really.  I have a friend in Katy who has said he placed all his important papers/photos. bits and bobs in the dishwasher closed it and locked it. The theory being, if water can't get out when you run it, it shouldn't get in either.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

That is a great idea.

I wished we lived closer because the towns around here have the boats and vehicles required for floods.  One of our neighboring towns repeatedly floods and they have built a levee of sorts around it, but in order for the kids to get to school and groceries in and out... they use those boats/vehicles.

Well, our luck appears to be running out, sigh man.

Power innage failed for 90 minutes earlier but is back on, bright spot man.

However, an hour ago, intersection at end of our block was water-covered, nonstop deluge man.

Now, street nearing us is the same, only matter of time man.

City has reduced pumping power to protect its precious levees, :bonk: man.

Water might enter casa during night or even before, sigh man.

Furthermore, City sent out recorded message:  "Your area is now under voluntary evacuation.  All evacuation routes are closed.  Please shelter in place and call our main number (2Many1-2ManyMany-2Many00) to let us know your location," :bonk: man.

Of course, 2Many1-2ManyMany-2Many00 is permanently busy, :bonk: man.

Late, ineffective, and disorganized, grrrRRRR man.

Sorry T-Bone.  How useful is an evacuation with no way to evacuate especially with night approaching?

I sense you'll be staying up tonight watching the water.

They need to rethink their evacuation plans - like maybe force people to take buses out of the city if they are worried about traffic jams.

I've heard Harvey went out into the Gulf, and means to do a U turn and come back in. Either way, it will get worse, :(

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
