Oh maybe I read it wrong. I thought the guy got angry and tried to get the laptop back, now DWS herself.

 

Then again, I could also see someone who is innocent initially get pissed when one of their employees gets investigated before they find out the employee is actually guilty. She has hired this guy for over a decade now. If she is innocent I imagine she probably feels pretty crappy about it.

Its weird I thought threatening people investigating you for not handing over evidence of their investigation was called obstruction.

“My understanding is the the Capitol Police is not able to confiscate Members’ equipment when the Member is not under investigation,” Wasserman Schultz said in the annual police budget hearing of the House Committee On Appropriations’ Legislative Branch Subcommittee.

“We can’t return the equipment,” Police Chief Matthew R. Verderosa told the Florida Democrat.

 

“I think you’re violating the rules when you conduct your business that way and you should expect that there will be consequences,” Wasserman Schultz said.

 

 

What does that sound like to you? What it looks like happened is that they confiscated every bit of electronic equipment he had and it just so happens that he had a laptop belonging to her. She was saying it was hers and thus not under investigation and should be returned.

Shortly after news of the FBI investigation broke on Tuesday, several media outlets learned that Imran Awan was arrested at Dulles Airport Monday night trying to flee the United States. He was arrested for multiple counts of bank fraud and surrendered his passport.

The Daily Caller’s Rosiak said one of the allegations against the brothers Awan was that “they were sending information to an offsite server and when you look at their backgrounds, these guys have been accused of fraud repeatedly in civil lawsuits.”

Wasserman Schultz, much to the confusion of the public, reportedly fought with Capitol Police to allow the brothers to gain access to their laptops instead of expressing concern over the fact that her IT personnel were allegedly hacking sensitive information.

The Daily Caller had reported that Wasserman Schultz “inexplicably protected” Awan when news of the scandal first broke.

Wasserman Schultz’s IT Aide Arrested At Airport After Transferring $300k To Pakistan From House Office

 

Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s top information technology (IT) aide was arrested Monday attempting to board a flight to Pakistan after wiring $283,000 from the Congressional Federal Credit Union to that country.

He attempted to leave the country hours after The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group revealed that he is the target of an FBI investigation, and the FBI apprehended him at the airport.

Credit union officials permitted the wire to go through, and his wife has already fled the country to Pakistan, after police confronted her at the airport and found $12,000 in cash hidden in her suitcase but did not stop her from boarding, court documents show.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz May Have Given Muslim Brotherhood Top Secret Information

For the past few months the story of the Awan brothers has continued to be ignored completely by the mainstream media.

The brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan, all born in Pakistan, all with connections to the Muslim brotherhood; are at the center of a widespread criminal investigation by United States Capitol Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

After the arrest of Imran Awan, while trying to flee the United States, it's reigniting the precious allegations that suggest that Wasserman-Schultz’s missing computer that she freaked out over on film may contain evidence of not only overcharging taxpayers for congressional IT equipment, but possibly blackmailing members of Congress with secrets captured from emails.

To backtrack a bit, the Awan brothers were Pakistani IT specialists, who worked privately for at least 30 House and Senate prominent Democrats , as well as Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, as her personal technicians.

The new scandal involving Imran Awan being arrested, and now being charged with bank fraud himself, has raised questions about who may have been passed data which the Awans had access to, given Pakistan's history of collaborating with a number of foreign countries, which have direct ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, who have all demonstrated past willingness to influence United States politics.

I think it is still a stretch to say that DWS herself "May have given muslim brotherhood top secret information".

 

Employees who worked for her look like they have ties and may have been supplying information. That doesn't imply DWS herself was involved in their transfer of information. Trump would hope for the same argument to hold true for him when the special investigation is done. People who worked for Trump may have discussed with Russians how to manipulate our elections to help him win, but Trump is going to be relying on the fact that there is not yet evidence (to our knowledge) to suggest that he personally knew about it. People can't be 100% responsible for their subordinates in all things. I realize some people on the "left" may believe Trump is 100% responsible for everything every employee of his does, but I don't think that. 

 

I think what is more likely in this situation is DWS has information on that laptop that she doesn't want to be made public, and possibly even doesn't want the FBI to look at. Nude photos, evidence of bribes, intimidation or whatever. We are just speculating at this point what it is. They very well may be serious things she wants covered up, but I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that she was trying to cover up the fact that she is a secret muslim brotherhood spy. It seems like she was just trying to get them to give back HER laptop. She wasn't trying to cover for the guy.
