Hi, my wife and I are working on the application for the adjustment of Status following our marriage on her K-1 visa. On the k1 visa adjustment of status guide, one of the listed forms is the same G-325A that we filled out months ago to accompany the I-129F. I didn't doubt it, since some details have changed since then and now, but then when I was reading through the instructions for the I-485, I noticed this line:

Quote

Form G-325A, Biographic Information. Form G-325A is no longer required. You do not need to submit a separate Form G-325A with this Form I-485. Parts 1. and 3. of this Form I-485 meet the requirements of 8 CFR 245.3(a)(3)(i) by collecting the biographical information formerly required on Form G-325A.

I feel like this is plenty clear, but I just want to make absolute sure so I don't mess anything up, since this is extremely important that we get everything right in the AOS for her, so I basically want someone to verify it for us: Is this correct? Do we now not need to include a G-325A with the AOS packet?

Thank you!

And also I'd suggest in this case that if the G-325A is no longer needed, the Visa Journey Step-by-Step Guide on How to File for Adjustment of Status for K1 and K3 Visa Holders should be updated accordingly.

G-325A is no longer needed with the new edition of most forms :) They have been incorporated into the main forms like I-129F, I-485 etc.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
