Hi! 

My dad is 60 years old and waiting for his visa  to arrive, once he has visa does he need to do the PDOS in manila?

60 and over do not attend, but they need to register and get the sticker in their passport after they have their visa.

Where should he go to register and had that sticker? Does he need have an appointment or schedule?

No appt needed.   Locations are listed in the link I gave you for CFO

My dad received his visa already. Does it need to be direct flight? And any suggestion that i can find a very good deal ticket from mania to LAX?

Search using google flights. It will give you a better picture of the prices from different airlines and you can choose the best price and date to fly. Doesn't need to be a direct flight.

Nope.  Besides finding a direct flight is limited and costly.

 

I use google flight to check out flights and pricing, then I scheduling directly with the airline
