thanks, I've been looking for a deal, worth it for me to drive to Chicago to save $600

If you are somewhat open with your timing, go onto Expedia and try some different dates. My first trip last year was United and Japanese Airlines through Hawaii for only $365!!!!!   Book it as economy then upgrade on the airlines site for more legroom. I looked at Economy Plus tickets and they were over $2000 round trip. I booked the entire round trip flight for $524.95 (including all taxes and fees) and upgraded all for legs to Economy Plus for only $280. That is an option as you can select seats in the same class for no upgrade cost. I opted for legroom at $100 each way to and from Seoul and $40 each way to and from Manila. If I were a bit smaller I would have just stuck with the regular seats.

I leave O'Hare at 11:55 PM on Thursday and arrive in Manila at noon on Saturday. A perfect trip. Luckily I have no problem sleeping on airplanes.
