What my husband offered is that I go home but we do not divorce, and when he gets it together 2 or 3 years later, he'd apply for spouse visa for me.

I don't see much sense in any of that

I'm so sorry you are going through all of this....  I can't  imagine how you feel -  just even reading your lines is a pain.

Do what is right for YOU, girl, not for someone who wasn't able to put it together BEFORE you arrived. Well, you've been HERE, with him, ..you still are, and nothing has changed either..

What he is really offering - to put your life on hold... Again ( it's been already done, once, with AOS).  So, why should things be any different in 2-3 years ???!

I hate saying this because  this is really hard,  and it's not what we expect to face, getting married.. especially when it comes along with a move to a different country..
But you got to move on with YOUR life.  And make things RIGHT with the US  - to be able to come back one day...

P.S. Even the way you've described what you've been through tells about you as a very calm, very intelligent and beautiful person...You deserve so much better!!!!

God bless
