I am filling out I-864 to bring my mom. I don't make enough myself to bring her over.

My wife and I file taxes married and file jointly.

My wife makes more then enough so she will be filling out the I-864a to co-sponsor my mom.

Do both my wife and I have to send same tax transcripts, or can one transcript be for both of us?

Do I even have to fill out I-864 if I don't qualify by making enough and just have my wife sponsor my mom on her own??

hi

just one transcript for both, yes you have to file the i864 and your wife the i864A

aside from sending financial proof, your wife has to also send proof of being a USC or LPR, copy of your marriage certificate to prove relationship to the petitioner and proof that you both live in the same house

Hello , since both of you file tax together as married couple all you need to send is the tax transcript you both filed together and with the tax transcripts they know your personal information and your income , also your wife's income is clearly documented ... all you need to do is to send the tax transcript to them and I know  on the form i864 there is a place for your to put your own personal income and for the co sponsor there is a place to put her own personal income .... don't be confused Sir the tax transcripts is very explanatory... they your income from your wife's income ... for the form to file I think your wife should file form I864a  and YES you still have to file form I864 ...

We both live in in the same house, so copy of our drivers license would be okay?

We got married overseas, but our marriage certificate is in both English and Urdu, is that fine?

My wife was born in US, so she would send in her birth certificate copy?

Thanks!

Okay nice I got what you trying to ask , she can send her proof of address and photo ID and proof of her status which is the passport or birth certificate ... she can also send her driver license ... as far as I know you don't need to send your marriage certificate , doesn't apply at all , she is not filing for your mom neither is she filing for you right now ... you filing for your mom and you need affidavits of support and she makes enough income , all she need is a photo ID and her proof of citizenship , a letter of verification that she is your co sponsor ..I.e affidavit of support letter that your mom won't become a public charge to united state .. that's all you need brother

To just state again I am applying to bring my mom to the US.  My wife will help with financial support since her income is more.

Today I received NVC cover letter in the mail.

I just registered and chose agent.  Pretty simple.

Next step is to wait to pay fee and then wait to submit visa application.  Okay seems fine.

Then collect financial and supporting documents and send in one package to NVC.

I'm looking at the Document Cover Sheet that NVC sent with the welcome letter and am wondering about documents to send with package in step 6.

This is what the Cover Sheet looks like:

Please, please tell me what documents are required to be sent from each section.  I want it done right the first time.  Please help me friends!
